Ronald McDonald House - RMHB Golf Event 2013

We are looking for support from businesses, companies and schools that want to give a helping hand to families in need. With increasing running costs of £170,000.00 per year and a really small team of staff; we need support from our local community now more than ever.

Our corporate relations are vital to our existence and we thank you in advance for your support.

Why we should be your Nominated Charity

Your support will contribute greatly towards our fundraising efforts and enable us to continue planning for the future of the charity. Your involvement and support will help give us the platform we need to continue raising our profile. You will be helping to create opportunities for us to recruit and retain the support of the local community.

How can your company get involved?

There are lots of ways that your company can get involved and help out at Ronald McDonald House Bristol. This can be from fundraising to gardening and we can tailor a partnership package to suit your needs.

You can take part in some of our events that take place throughout the year or you can organise your own. We host an annual Golf Day and Dinner, Christmas Carol Concerts, Sky Dive days, London to Paris cycle rides and marathons and many more. In 2012 we will host our 10 year anniversary Gala Ball.

You will have a dedicated member of the fundraising team that will support your throughout the time you dedicate to the house.

Make us your Charity of the Year

If you adopt Ronald McDonald House as your Charity of the Year we can work together to raise each other’s profiles and promote a positive image to the public. We are a small charity but with a loyal supporter base from all over the country. We promise to make the year rewarding and enjoyable. Fundraising through your work brings colleagues together and gets everyone thinking outside of the box.

We will supply you with a Fundraising Pack, collection tins, balloons, event posters, t-shirts, sponsorship forms and anything that you need to make your fundraising schemes a success. You can join us for our events or organise your own.

Companies can support in others way as well. Headroom Design developed and maintains our website for free. Support such as this is vital to the marketing and development of the charity. www.headroomdesign.co.uk

Community Challenges

We set challenges for companies and groups of people that wish to donate a day of their time to Ronald McDonald House Bristol. Groups are usually split into two and we set different challenges dependent on the needs of the house at the time.

We run a 21 bedroomed House, with several large communal areas and a good-sized, landscaped garden. This means there is always scope for repairs, renovation and maintenance, tidying and cleaning. In order to keep our running costs to a minimum, we rely heavily on volunteers to help us keep on top of this work. We welcome teams of people who would be willing to spend a day working on a particular project- such as the upkeep of the garden, or ‘spring cleaning’ the stock rooms. We will work with you to design a team day that will be enjoyable for everyone and of great value to the charity.

Corporate Sponsorship

As the charity is a house there are lots of different elements that your company can sponsor. Sponsorship means that you cover the costs of an area in the house and we will honour your donation with a plaque dedicating the area to the sponsor.

•
•		£500 will get a plaque dedicated on our tree of life

•		£3,000 will sponsor one bedroom for one year

•
•		£3,000 will redecorate the children’s play area

•
•		£5,000 will redecorate the communal living area

•		£20,000 will redecorate the whole house

The redecoration costs can be broken down further so you can chose to sponsor a certain element of this.
