• We make no charge to families who stay with us

• We have no regular source of income and rely solely upon fundraising

• We need to raise in excess of £130,000 per year to meet our annual
   running costs

• We have a small core team of staff

• We rely heavily upon volunteers

• On average, we look after 70 new families per month

• Over half of the families that stay with us live as far as 300 miles
   away from the hospital

• We are always full to capacity with long waiting lists of families in
   need of accommodation

• We have just been granted permission to build a further 5, much
   needed bedrooms which we hope to open in March 2010
