Who are we?

Ronald McDonald House Bristol (RMHB) provides free 'home from home' accommodation and support to families of critically ill children being treated in the Bristol Royal Hospital for Children. The families we look after come from as far away as Devon, Cornwall and South Wales to receive specialist treatment in Bristol. Once families have a room with us they can stay for as long as they need, which could be days, weeks, months or even years. Our objectives are to look after the whole family practically and emotionally enabling them to be able to feel some sense of ‘normality’ during one of the most stressful times in their lives.

Keeping our families safe – an update on Coronavirus (COVID- 19) From Denise Johnson-Carr, Charity Director

Supporting us in 2021

Now more than ever, we need your support. Although we are still hopeful for a little more normality this year, it is clear that the effects of Covid-19 on our charity are not over. Help us to continue providing this vital service to families in need from across Bristol, the South West and South Wales who find themselves with a child in hospital.

We know these times are difficult for us all and truly appreciate any support you can give.
